Laboratory Hazardous Waste Training

The State of California requires hazardous waste training for all faculty, researchers, and staff who handle or manage chemicals. This training must be completed initially and renewed annually. The course covers proper labeling, storage, and handling of hazardous waste, reviews applicable regulations, and outlines emergency procedures for chemical waste management. It also includes Caltech-specific protocols for managing chemical waste.

Attendees to Laboratory Safety Training will be automatically enrolled in Laboratory Hazardous Waste Training.
