Safety Coordinator Program
The Safety Coordinator Program is designed to assist Principal Investigator's (PI's) such that every lab has one or more individuals acting as a liaison with the EH&S Office and the Office of Research Compliance.
PI's can delegate the duties of providing orientation and safety training to new lab members, providing technical guidance for work with hazardous materials, and serving as an evacuation coordinator to their Safety Coordinators.
To aid and support the Safety Coordinators in the performance of these critical functions, the EH&S Office provides training and helps them navigate available resources. Some of the documents found below may assist Safety Coordinators in performing their role:
