THIS course is designed to inform participants about their role in the comprehensive occupational health, safety and environment protection programs at Caltech. Discussion will focus on the many federal, state and local regulations and the profound impact they have on the daily activities of Caltech. Case examples on hoe to balance various legal requirements and effectively manage the inherent risk in the workplace will be explored. Topic include:

  • Loss Control Measures
  • Hazardous Material Management
  • Emergency Response
  • Ergonomics
