SDSs
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) provide necessary information about precautions for protecting against known hazards associated with a material. They often include information on chemical, physical, and toxicological properties, along with suggestions for storing, transporting, and disposing of chemicals.
SDSs are available from the chemical manufacturer or supplier. They are also readily available online. We have compiled a few of the relevant web sites here. If you have difficulty obtaining an SDS for a material that you are working with contact EH&S for assistance.
